Sunday Morning
Sun glitters in through cracked shades, casting lines of illumination over their sleep tangled bodies. One rolls over to the other, locking bright yet groggy eyes. There is the soft slow smack of a kiss. Then another. Sleep rasps his voice as he reminds her how beautiful she looks in the morning, and her lips meet his again. Their bodies wake up to one another. Tired limbs begin to wrap and wind together. Early churchgoers pass by in a rhythmic chain of passing cars. But they stay together, in this bed, worshiping each other instead.
