Sickness
It's the early 19th century. You are dreadfully sick and can do little else than lye in your bed and listen, as your family continues on with their lives without you. Smell of mustard and turpantine fills your room, with only a tinch of smoke interrupting th monotony. You can feel a fresh poultice on your chest. The fever has passed, but you reagardless feel weak, damp and sore in general. Only your novel saves you from boredom, yet even it you can hardly read for your eyes hurt terribly.
