I am a firm believer in God, and I also am a firm believer that, as He made the body and all its wonders, we should not be ashamed to enjoy that beauty. And while I believe that making love belongs to marriage, I also believe that making love is neither dirty nor shameful, and in its proper place should be celebrated; the extremely explicit descriptions of hubby and wife in the Song of Solomon in the Bible are proof that God is actually quite positive about the body and lovemaking.

God made us to feel arousal and erotic enjoyment, and so long as that does not lead to lust (which is defined as desire without actual love involved), then I believe that we can enjoy erotic art without guilt or shame. (Not p*rn, there's a big difference; p*rn shows sinful acts and cheapens love instead of celebrates it.) In fact, godly versions of such art can lead us to discover just how free we are in God. I could describe the matter in better detail, but I'm afraid that would take a lot of space that I don't have. Suffice to say, I believe that, while God certainly has rules, He also isn't a tyrant, and art like this can be used as an outlet so we can avoid dirty art that turns the body and lovemaking into something cheap.
